Dorsal Orb 2022

A$140.00

Mendocino, USA
Grenache
13% ABV.

Dorsal Wines is the project of Devin Alexander Myers who works with a number of sites planted amongst the wild, old growth redwood coast of Mendocino, California.

The winery is in Cloverdale, Sonoma County with grapes exclusively coming from organically and biodynamically dry-farmed family vineyards in the coastal valleys and ridges of Mendocino County.

This wine comes from grenache grown on volcanic soil in the Sierra Foothills. The fruit was lightly foot-trodden and macerated for three days before being pressed off for fermentation and 6 months of elevage. It’s red-fruited, with a slightly pulpy texture and delicate, dusty aromatics.

We’re also happy to be offering this wine as part of a twin-pack with the Dorsal Monsoon, for those looking to further acquaint themselves with this wonderful producer.

These are super high quality and very, very delicious.
