Sangiovese grown by Cory Hope at the Certified-Organic Shays-Flat Vineyard in Landsborough Valley, Pyrenees. The vines at this site are planted over quartz and schist. The fruit was vinified at the Babche winery in Timboon, Southwest Victoria.
Medium-bodied, concentrated and lightly saline, with varietal dark cherry and liquorice as well as a slightly savoury expression of spice and a delicious notion of crushed granite.
