Jordi Llorens Parallada 2021

A$66.00
Sold Out

Catalunya, Spain
Parallada
ABV: 12%

This is a very good quality, fresh and lightly saline white wine.

Jordi Llorens’ Parellada, bottled only in the best years, comes from his old vine parcel of the local white variety parellada and is a direct, relatively low alcohol wine that a simply stunning aperitif.

Jordi’s farm sits about an hour directly inland from Barcelona and the property has always been organically. Jordi is the 7th generation of his family to run this property and they have written family records from the late 1700s detailing their history.

Jordi macerates this wine lightly for 4 days before pressing it off to amphora for elevage.

2021, with the cooler conditions has grown a wine that is fresh and essentially quite delicate but still with plenty of earthen expression of the calcareous terroir.

Serve from the fridge and enjoy as an aperitif or pop this on the table with a generous platter of seafood and plenty of lemon wedges!
