Fallow About Time 2022

A$42.00
Sold Out

Yarra Valley, Australia
Sauvignon Blanc
13.5% ABV.

Healesville winemaker and absolute gentleman Ryan Frazer is, in our opinion, one the brightest stars of small-scale, additive-free winemaking in the country.

100% negociant since the 2023 vintage, Ryan works with a number of terrific growers and sites in and around the Yarra, which are predominantly clay loam and vary from the rich soils of Healesville to the dry and shallow topsoil from hard-working vines in St Andrews.

About Time is sauvignon blanc from Healesville – 1 acre of 30 year-old vines grown by Alana Thomas. It was picked nice and ripe, then direct-pressed to two barrels for 11 months of elevage.

With beautiful harmony between fruity and more vegetal varietal characters, and balance between freshness and primary texture, this represents so much of what we love about the variety, and is evidence of very tidy work in both the vineyard and winery.

Cheers Ryan!
