Le Coste is based around the banks of Lago di Bolsena in the small town of Gradoli in the North of Lazio. Gianmarco Antonuzzi and Clémentine Bouveron farm around 14 hectares of land, with vineyards planted amongst olive groves, chestnut trees, shrubs and oaks. Here, the soils are old, volcanic and rich in iron and minerals.

This is a blend of aleatico, merlot, sangiovese and procanico, which saw a gentle period of maceration before being pressed off to vats for elevage. It’s aromatic and pink-fruited, with expressive acidity and a deep and mineral presence on the palate which is so characteristic of this type of soil.

Bottled in a very agreeable 1L format, for maximum enjoyment.
