Our made-in-house amaro, made available in bottles for retail purchase for the very first time!
We’ve had the extreme pleasure of making amaro here at Public for a while now, infusing off-dry wines from the shop with beautiful ingredients from our apothecary neighbours next-door, Queiscence, and maturing the liqueur in glass demijohns on-site. We love offering this in a Negroni or as a digestif after dinner, and have now released a very limited run of 500ml bottles for those keen to enjoy a glass at home.
This rendition of the amaro has been macerated with dang gui, licorice, gentian root, mugwort and dandelion, and bottled with no added spirit.
We recommend serving it simply on the rocks with a slice of orange – or however you fancy your amaro!
