We seriously love Jordi Llorens’ Blan 5-7 every year - it’s from a very old planting of macabeu and parellada on the famous calcareous soils of Conca de Barbera and, while typically fruity when young, with a couple of years in bottle the terroir really emerges and the wine begins showing a distinct thread of salinity.
This lightly macerated white wine is simply delicious as a stand alone drink, and is also excellent at the table when served with delicate seafood (or great quality fish and chips if we’re honest!)
