2021 was a glorious year for Valencia superstar Tomas Torres. All of the wines have proven to be very precise, with perfect physiological ripeness creating very harmonious balance between acidity, phenolics and sunkissed Mediterranean fruit.
Al Tall Blanc is direct-press tortosi – a grape which is fairly specific to this part of Spain – grown on the calcareous white chalk of Carricola, south of Valencia. Everything was done in tank. The wine is light-to-medium bodied, with a compact core of restrained fruit in the realm of apples and pears, plenty of salinity, and lightly earthen soil-derived aromatics.
