Delicate, saline, high-altitude white wine made from direct-press jacquère by Savoie winemaker Adrien Dacquin.
Adrien is a quiet achiever who mainly sells his wines to locals and visitors exploring the hiking trails around his property. He also grows the jacquere which Jean-Yves Peron uses to make his Cotillon des Dames cuvee.
Light but concentrated, with a pleasing amount of pulpy primary texture, and restrained white and golden fruit flavours, this does very nicely as an aperitif and is even better with some alpine cheese.
