Andi is back!

After receiving our first ever wines from rising star Andi Weigand last year, we have just been treated to a long-awaited second shipment. This includes a number of restocks, and happily, a new cuvee made from a rare mutation called Blue Silvaner.

Typical of Andi’s style from a winemaking perspective albeit with an added dimension owing to the unique variety, this is fresh, chiselled and direct, with lower alcohols, lees-derived texture and flavour and a citrus-tropical style of fruit.

Andi lives and works in the historic town of Iphofen in central Germany, where he farms a number of cool sites growing on calcareous soils and vinifies (mostly white) wines in a cellar built in 1664.
