Description:
Niki and Tim’s winery is in Timboon, southwestern Victoria, but the pair also work with some other top-quality vineyards around the state. The fruit for this wine comes from the Chapoutier vineyard in Landsborough Valley, north of Ararat – a site Niki and Tim have been working with consistently since the start of the project.
100% grenache planted in the early 2000s over a mix of loam, sandstone and quartz, this was fully destemmed and vinified in a mixture of steel and old barrels.
Ruby in the glass, aromatic and plush in texture, this offers a gorgeous and very regional array of varietal flavours in the realm of sour cherry, alpine herbs and flowers, amaro and rose hip tea.
