Description:
Pinot noir grown in West Gippsland by Al and Adriana, former architects with a shared interest in sustainable and regenerative design, who have since turned their attention to Al’s family property in West Gippsland, expanding the original plantings with a number of new blocks of vines as well as revegetating areas of the property with endemic plants and raising animals.
The Bandicoot Run property is home to seven pinot noir clones across 3 hectares of vineyard, all organically grown on alluvial soils — fertile topsoil over silt, gravel, and layered clays. The fruit for this cuvee comes from a parcel of 20-year-old vines.
It’s always a very real pleasure having bottles in the building from this talented young couple, while they last!
