Description:
A very limited release from the 2024 harvest, with just 220 bottles produced.
This comes from two clones of pinot noir which were picked, destemmed and macerated for 12 hours before pressing off to a single barrel for fermentation. Some chardonnay was later added (about one quarter of the final volume) and the wine was run to tank for the final stage of its elevage.
Light-to-medium bodied with plump texture, this is a deliciously youthful and energetic style with various shades of fruit in the realm of strawberry, guava, blood orange and pomegranate, complemented nicely by some gently yoghurt-y lees-derived character. Perfectly suited to the warm late summer evenings ahead.
