Clo is the project of Chris Loth, longtime member of the team at Annandale Cellars in Sydney and now a very talented winemaker, with the establishment of his Clo project in 2013 coupled with stints in France with such wonderful producers as Jean Foillard and François Rousset-Martin.
This white comes from fruit from a single vineyard which was direct-pressed to barrel for fermentation and elevage. Fresh and delicate yet layered and savoury, it combines delicious orchard fruit flavours and lovely nutty and bready characters from the oxidative style of elevage. Versatile, incredibly satisfying and a lovely way to kick off an evening.
