Sunnyside is the vineyard farmed organically by Clo in Tumbarumba, NSW. It's one of the oldest vineyards in the region and was planted in 1987 to pinot noir over the basalts typical of the region.

Inspired by the Coteaux Champenois Blanc wines of Champagne, this is direct-press pinot noir which was fermented and aged in old barrels as a white wine — medium-bodied and savoury with buttery autolytic flavours reminiscent of chardonnay, albeit with a touch more sweetness to the fruit, and gently balancing acidity and phenolic structure.

A classical, versatile and approachable white, we recommend this very highly.
