Description
From young Alsatian star Lambert Speilmann, this comes from direct-press auxerrois from 40-year-old vines grown on clay, in which the skins of pinot noir were infused for a week before being pressed off to vat.
A deep rosé which drinks a little like a light trousseau, this is nicely earthy and gently tannic, with a compact core of fruit which unravels beautifully over hours in the glass.
A relatively new cuvee for Lambert but one which we’re absolutely loving, and which is really singing in the balanced and very high-quality 2023 vintage.
