Lovely, lovely pinot noir rosé from the Blue Mountains.
Frankly is the project of father-son duo Bob and Tom Colman. Based in the town of Blackheath, fruit is sourced from a number of organic sites in the area, all of which grow at considerable elevation in very cool, and often wet, conditions.
This rosé is 100% pinot noir and is both classical and very varietal – medium-bodied with earthen red fruit, some herbaceous alpine character and a subtle and nicely integrated impression of old wood.
A wonderful wine from some very wonderful people!
