A 2014 blend of grenache, syrah and cinsault from former-journalist and winemaker Gregory White, based halfway between Béziers and Montpellier.
With the significant limestone influence here in the village of Aspiran, this terroir can produce really stunning grenache, with energy and very delicious dark red fruit.
Savoury and rustic tertiary aromas here give way with air to a medium-to-full bodied palate full of rich red fruit, plush texture and balanced acidity, evocative of the abundant warmth and sunshine of the south. Decant and enjoy with a meal.
