Description
A much-anticipated restock, from the concentrated and high quality 2024 harvest in Te Matau-a-Māui, Hawke’s Bay.
Amy and Olly Hopkinson-Styles are two of our biggest heroes in the world of wine – dear old friends, brilliant winemakers and tirelessly passionate communicators within the global community of organic winemaking.
Halcyon is 100% sauvignon blanc from the Osawa vineyard, situated in the Mangatahi subregion of Hawke’s Bay. It was picked a little earlier and macerated for a period before being pressed off, and was vinified entirely in tank, as is Amy and Olly’s custom.
Tense, textural and fresh, with abundant varietal flavours of citrus, green pineapple and green capsicum, this is particularly concentrated and delicious in 2024 – the silver lining of reduced yields following the cyclone of 2023.
Cheers Amy and Olly!
