South Australian royalty James Erskine is back with another magnificent suite of wines, this time from the high, high-quality 2024 harvest. We always love these wines for their delicious fruit and super-precise winemaking but in 2024, the wines also show perhaps the most minerality that we’ve ever tasted from these sites.
This comes from a dry-grown vineyard in Clarendon farmed organically by Fiona Wood, planted over grey sand and ironstone. The two varieties were harvested and fermented separately and eventually aged together in older French puncheons.
