Description

From a section of Jordi’s farm that was planted by his grandfather, year in year out Tosut is a silken jewel, with delicious, varietal fruit, incredible levity on the palate and quite astonishing finesse.

From an excellent harvest and now almost a decade old, the 2017 rendition of this wine has entered a glorious window. It’s medium-weighted and classical, with evolved syrah aromatics of cured meat and spices leading to a richly fruited palate with abundant freshness – a feature owing to the calcareous clay which imparts Jordi’s wines with lovely elegance and digestibility despite the warmth and aridity of the region.

A wine of effortless appeal which we would recommend to any customer, this will be marvellous throughout the cooler months of the year, on its own or alongside a variety of heartier dishes. Serve at cellar temp (14 or 15°C).
