Description:
Medium-bodied, bright and mineral red wine made from a blend of grenache, mencia and other varieties, both white and red, by Galician winemaker Nacho Gonzales. Silken and fine in structure, with grapey dark red fruit underscored by some more savoury charcuterie aromatics, and a delicate thread of volatile acidity which keep things buoyant and fresh.
A joy to drink in sunny weather alongside escabeche and other pickled things.
Nacho works with a number of old (and often previously abandoned) sites in the Valdeorras region of Galicia to create his minuscule production of bottles every year.
