Description:
La Petite Empreinte is the project of Romain de Moor (son of Alice and Olivier) and his partner Mélissa Bazin. Their tiny estate, primarily planted to pinot noir, is situated in the commune of Vincelottes, near Chablis. In addition to working closely with Romain’s parents, the pair also boast experience working with producers such as Jean-Francois Ganevat, Domaine Labet, Domaine Lapierre and Gérald Oustric.
From an older plot of pinot noir planted in 1978 on limestone and clay, falling within the AOC of Bourgogne Côtes d'Auxerre, this is a touch richer relative to other reds from the domaine but still resolutely medium-bodied. Perfumed, elegant and deliciously silken in texture, this is ethereal and utterly brilliant in terms of both fruit quality and vinification.
