Sparkling chenin grown on schist from Anjou star Adrien de Mello.
This has golden fruit, layers of lees-derived flavour and texture, and a persistent, lightly oxidative and savoury back-palate, where there lies a faint impression of rocky soils. The wine is somewhat full and broad despite the relatively low alcohols, making it a great option for both an aperitif or an accompaniment to food.
Without doubt one of our favourite sparkling wines of the year. We’re very excited about this!
