Description:
Nothing makes us happier than receiving new wines from Kyatt and Anna and the team at Limus. Grown across a number of high quality sites and soil types in the Mount Gambier region, these are reliably classical, varietal and precise wines which we find to be both approachable and versatile at the table, with a lovely balance between easygoing fruit and more serious savoury nuance (owing both to the volcanic composition of some of the sites and a good amount of time in barrel).
This is reliably one of our favourite chardonnays made every year in Australia, and 2024 is no exception: medium-weighted, layered and long on the palate after a long stint in barrel, and the sort of style which we would heartily recommend to each and every customer.
