From the 'Cemetery Block' at the base of the Piccadilly Valley, planted on alluvial black sandy soil. This farm is run by Jenny and James Griggs who are the 6th generation to farm the block.
The fruit was whole-bunch pressed and fermented in 680L vitrified ceramic eggs and aged on lees. This wine comes from only the free-run fraction.
2024 has been an excellent year for Anton and the team, with cooler weather resulting in gorgeous fruit with perfect physiological ripeness and nice tension. We’re really loving this release!
