Description:
A delicious young wine from the Adelaide Hills and one of the first out of the gates from the 2025 harvest, this follows what has been an amazing series of releases from Anton and his team at Lucy Margaux.
Similar to the high-quality 2024 harvest, 2025 was cool, albeit a bit drier at the end of the growing season, making it relatively early, and yields across the board were very healthy.
The syrah for this wine came from a site in Hope Forrest, and was direct-pressed to ceramic eggs for fermentation and elevage. The final wine is plump and youthful in texture, with soft and pretty pink and red fruit and a very delicious thread of salinity.
