Tim and Mon create some of our favourite wines in the country every year. Their 25-acre property in the Forest Range is perched on an ancient ridge with an abundance of schist and mica and, as a result, their wines often have a captivating degree of depth and minerality which is quite unique for the region.
This pinot noir comes from Tim and Mon’s cool 2023 harvest, which so far has proved excellent across the board – all of the wines fruity, taut and mineral, singing of healthy fermentations and perfect physiological ripeness. It is the first time the cuvee has been made since 2019.
