From a four hectare property in the Maremma, along the south-western coastline of Tuscany, founded by German expat Christoph Fischer alongside friends Enrico Bachechi and Marco Giordano, who in 2014 took over a 60-year old vineyard that was one of the few in the area still producing traditional varieties.

The purchase of the property was followed by further plantings of both white and red indigenous varieties using Massale selections from friends in the area, including some from Le Coste. The soil here is a balance of schist, clay and sand, with sedimentary rock fragments, and the property is farmed biodynamically. After vinification, the wines are cellared in an old super alimentari (corner grocery store) in the nearby village of Poggio Murella.

Roccolina is a blend of white varieties from a single vineyard which was destemmed, macerated for 3 days, and then pressed to steel tanks to finish fermentation and elevage.
