Magnificent chardonnay from the Côte de Nuits, from the excellent 2022 vintage.
Bernard Bouvier is the third generation to farm vines in the region, the domaine having been founded by his grandfather Henri in 1910 and eventually taken over by René, after whom the domaine is now named. Bernard took over in 1992 and gained organic certification for all of the vineyards by the early 2000s.
The fruit for this cuvee comes from a monopole site just south of Marsannay, in the far north of Burgundy.
