Gorgeous vermouth from Adelaide Hills winemaker and dear friend of Public, James Madden.
This was made from organic sauvignon blanc grown by Ross Christian at a site in Norton Summit, as well as a number of local, native botanical ingredients. An appetising shade of orange in the glass, this has a small amount of residual sugar and lovely shades of quince and stone fruits, which are balanced by a complex array of aromatic, gently bitter and decidedly Australian herbal characters.
A very lovely thing this! Enjoy on its own with ice or in a mixed drink of your choosing.
