Description
The return of one of our favourite contemporary Australian wines – James Madden’s phenomenal multi-vintage blend.
This latest rendition of Forever Still combines chardonnay and pinot gris from the 2023 and 2024 vintages with a 20% portion of wine from James’ 7-year-old solera. A portion of the chardonnay was also aged for a period sous-voile.
The final wine is composed of fruit from various organic sites in the Adelaide Hills as well as the Barossa.
A touch broader, richer and more oxidative than the previous rendition of the same wine, this is wonderfully layered, with classic aged-Chardonnay flavours and textures mingling with slightly spicier notes from the pinot gris, and is overall very deep and complex.
A compelling and super impressive release.
