Description
Lovely rosé here from Adelaide Hills grower and winemaker James Madden.
The fruit here comes from a couple of different sites, with the white varieties making up most of the blend and the pinot noir about 15%.
The final wine offers various shades of white, orange and pink fruit, with rhubarb, orange peel and fresh red berries coming to mind. There’s some creamy nuance both aromatically and in the texture, with the palate fresh but balanced and with some persistent umami on the back-palate (thanks to the pinot, perhaps) complementing the pretty fruit very nicely.
