Description
A cracking new offering here from Scintilla.
James Madden makes some of our favourite wines in the country from his shed, nestled into a steep valley in the Basket Range, where he farms a number of orchards and makes wine with fruit sourced from a number of top-quality nearby organic growers.
This was raised in barrel and is medium-bodied albeit with a pleasing degree of density and heft through the mid-palate. It’s concentrated and mineral, with brooding dark red fruit and a suggestion of stalks aromatically, and a polished tannic structure.
