Description
Sparkling rosé from the Ardèche, made from syrah.
The fruit was pressed slowly for 12 hours and fermented for a short time in fibreglass before being run to barrel to finish its primary fermentation. It was eventually disgorged in 2024, just before its release.
Living and working in Valvignieres, Anders brings to his winemaking years of high-end sommelier experience in Copenhagen. His approach to wine is studious, patient and very poetic, as evinced by his beautiful writing on the subject. His wines, farmed and made alongside his partner Anne, are usually the result of extended periods of elevage, although he has noted that all of the wines from the 2023 vintage were fermented and finished relatively quickly.
The wines are always very memorable and always a pleasure to have in the shop.
