Description
Rosé from the Ardèche, made from a 50/50 blend of grenache noir and grenache blanc.
All of the fruit was picked very ripe and direct-pressed together – a very long, slow press over five days – and fermented in fibreglass. The resulting wine is rich and stylistically almost closer to a white than a rosé.
Living and working in Valvignieres, Anders brings to his winemaking years of high-end sommelier experience in Copenhagen. His approach to wine is studious, patient and very poetic, as evinced by his beautiful writing on the subject. His wines, farmed and made alongside his partner Anne, are usually the result of extended periods of elevage, and are always very memorable.
