This comes from a blend of fruit, mainly blaufränkisch, from 60-year-old vines, planted on a mixture of schist and limestone, destemmed and vinified in barrel after a long but gentle soak on skins.
A deep, dark and slightly savoury style of rosé with aromatic pink fruit and pepper and a concentrated core of flint and minerality on the palate.
