From Burgenland superstar Christian Tschida.
Riesling from a single 40-year-old vineyard planted to high density on a steep schist slope, with dense limestone and quartz towards the bottom. The fruit was very gently direct-pressed to old oak for fermentation and elevage.
Concentrated, fresh, saline, deep and mineral, with various shades of citrus, white fruit, flowers and herbs. As always, the quality of both fruit and winemaking is of remarkable quality.
